How late should we wait to buy BOOKS?

People are saying wait to find cheaper books...well how late should we wait? Do we need them the first week of class?

How do you even know what books to buy? They said we will find out through iLearn, but theres nothing there.

Why do people keep asking this…?

Actually you can find your textbooks at the bookstore’s website:
http://www.ucrcampusstore.ucr.edu/SelectTermDept.aspx

i recommend waiting until the first day of class. Your prof will tell you to if any changes are made to the book list and then go order your books ASAP after that

O nice thanks.

You don’t have to buy books now. There are lots of students who don’t have books until the after the first week and the professors UNDERSTAND this. You might purchase it the first day on amazon and it might take a few days or even a week. So it’s not a disaster if you don’t have the book the first few days of class.

You might need them the first week of class but you don’t need it the first day unless you get an email/ilearn message that says you do. Most students go in the first day of class without the book. You should be getting the required book within the first or second week of class.
