How Legit Are Colleges who take the "Highest from each section" on SAT?

<p>I am going to Score Choice two sittings of my SAT I's to Harvard, Princeton and Stanford. I already applied EA to Caltech and MIT with same score choiced scores.</p>

<p>They were 2250 (1450) and 2260 (1540). My super score is a 2340.</p>

<p>Do colleges really weight the 2340 from super as much as they would from a single sitting for 2340? Any past experiences where you knew only a super score could ahve saved someone, etc?</p>

<p>Super scoring is relatively new and I would believe whatever the admissions dept says that they do about scoring. They have made their decision on the mater and are unlikely to look and say that anyone is better because they received the best score on just one day.</p>
