aniruddhc: What do you exactly mean by “strong”, academically? 2200+ SAT, 780+ Subject SATs, that kinda stuff? Or IPhO IChO IMO IBO simultaneous gold medals type strong?

perfectpixie: 1900-2000 SATs, little to no ECAs. Academically they weren’t bad, one guy had 94% in his CBSE 10th with a 100 in math.

According to Blackadder’s definition of below average, I know a below average person who got MIT. Therefore, I conclude that MIT is my safety school, as I am better than that applicant. (the only difference being his research) lol :)

(@blackadder - no offense. . . pls don mind)

harisheena: Ok, add this to the definition of below average: NO HOOKS/OUTSTANDING SPECIAL TALENTS WHATSOEVER.
Further idiotic justification (because I’m feeling debate-y, must be all the Navratra food): I know FOUR guys. You know ONE. HAH! :P

pix - Stephen’s is a great safety… instead of wasting time on finding safety, work on essays, application and boards (the whole process is very hectic, as dec will approach u will feel like soooooooooooo pressurized)
