I've been reading some of the old threads, and it seems to me as though quite a few people bring up how liberal mac is. I have nothing against good gay/straight alliance (it's a plus), and I have nothing against a good amount of environemtnal awareness and such. However, being (mostly) conservative, I don't want to be attacked for my views.
I'd always though open-mindedness followed being liberal, however, I know many that are so die-hard that they are close-minded to other ideas. Are mac students/proffesors like this?

BUMP!!!(10 chars)

It's this liberal!

...well that's one school off my list O.o

it can depend on your major.

as a generalization, people with conservative views who are in the math/sciences or econ are perfectly happy. however, if you plan on taking a lot of humanities classes, you may run into awkward situations during discussions.

Thank you.
I'm going to try and visit the school and sit in on a class so I can see for myself.

You should visit before you apply, if at all possible. We walked around the campus in the summer and visited during the visit days in the fall. It was a real eye-opener regarding the liberalism.
