Hello all, I'm currently a freshman at Purdue's school of engineering and am on track for at least a 3.9 GPA for my first semester if not a 4.0. I'm also involved in various clubs and organizations at the university. The main reason that I would like to transfer is financial; however, even during high school my dream was to attend Notre Dame: I applied and unfortunately did not get in. My high school resume would include things such as a 4.1 weighted GPA, student body president, various honors, and extremely involved (in addition I am a minority but I don't know how big of a role that plays in applications). From what I've seen, Notre Dame looks at all of the applications that you have submitted within the last three years and since I had pretty good essays last year, that is good news from me. So at a glance, how likely do you think it is that I get accepted as a transfer student? Thanks so much!
