<p>I am an upper class white guy from Iowa, who goes to a small (65 per class), very competitive Catholic high school, that does not report class rank. I am applying to Dartmouth (my father and grandfather also went there), Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Harvard, WashU, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Northwestern, and Duke. </p>

<p>I also have done Outward Bound, write opinion articles for my newspaper, serve on my Student Council, serve in NHS, and I am a National Merit Semifinalist (likely finalist).</p>
<p>My essays could use a good amount of work, however. I need to woodshed them, and hopefully they will improve. However, just assume they will be middling, as a worst case scenario kind of thing, I guess. :</p>
