How likely is it that I can get into NYU with these stats?

I’m a junior right now, and my UW GPA is a 3.85, but I’m not quite in the top 10% of my class. My SAT is a 2320 (740M, 780 CR, and 800w), and my extracurricular activities include club and Varsity soccer for first two years (I quit to focus more on my volunteering), volunteering at humane society since end of freshman year, started volunteering special Olympics and tutoring middle school kids through YMCA this year, created a free percussion class for elementary school kids this year and plan to continue.

You have great stats! Focus on your grades for now. If you maintain the academic results you have now you should be at least a somewhat competitive applicant.

By the way, other CC members will probably want to know what you wish to major in and they will be able to assist you in a much greater capacity.

Your GPA could improve, but overall you are well prepared for NYU—that 2320 is especially impressive!

I’m not sure which school you are considering, but I would rate you as a likely acceptance.

2320 is a great score not only for NYU but for all top schools, so that part is great. Your GPA might be a bit low(not sure). And your ECs seems interesting, but I don’t think that there’s anything unique. Do a bit of ECs related to your intended major. If you’re applying to Stern, you have a good chance. I would say that you would definitely get into CAS.
