I reported an W (withdrawal) for this particular 1-semester unit that is related to tutoring on the UC Application; however, it was actually an F. It is a Non-UC transferable course that has nothing to do with my major, and I have retaken this course a year later. The admission officer states that it would not be an automatic dismissal, but they would need to see the entire transcript to determine my admission status. My current GPA is above 3.1.
the only people who would really know that is your UC. You need to turn in the transcript.
Wait. It’s non-transferable? One unit? And you retook it? They don’t care about non-transferable. Just send them a msg. The only possible thing if they were in the mood - you put W instead of F in the application, which is a misrepresentation. Still all in all, I believe the odds are in your favor as it is non-transferable. Please let us know what they say. I definitely would let them know via email before they find it on the transcript. They don’t like surprises.
Why did you put a W if the grade was an F?
I had a term that went awful for me because of a personal situation. It was an accident but every other courses I have listed have the same grade/status as my official transcript.
As lindy and aunt bea said, only the UC can tell you, but I doubt that a non transferable 1 unit course will make a difference
