How long after submission should you get confirm. from school?

<p>I submitted 2 applications through the common app last week on the 15th and got confirmation from the common app, but I was expecting to get a confirmation from the schools within a few days of submission too and I haven't gotten any email yet. Though I'm guessing some of the technical issues are causing schools delays too.</p>

<p>For others who submitted recently, how long until you got confirmation from your schools?</p>

<p>It varies from school to school. Some will send confirmation within a day, some take more than a week. Some would not send any until after deadline and just notify you what is missing. You should check with the admission office of the school after a week or so if you are not sure the application was received.</p>
