how long and how much?

<p>i am about to be a junior and am really focusing on studying for the october psat. however, the sat is not long off and my main preparation plans regarding the sat are practice test after practice test. </p>

<p>i've found a lot of statistics on cc about how many practice tests top scores used. but i want to know how long before you took the sat did you begin using practice tests?</p>

<p>If you're taking it in October it wouldn't hurt to start now, while you have time before school starts. For us, school starts in 3 weeks!!! So I'd get a good prep book and start.</p>
