How long are UFE app. essays supposed to be?

<p>My son received a letter inviting him to apply for UFE, which included the essay topics. However it didn’t say how long the essays are supposed to be. Can anyone help us out?</p>

<p>it seems that there is a 4000 character limit for both CHP and UFE essays.</p>

<p>Note that the limit is characters (including spaces, commas, periods).</p>

<p>I can confirm that the limit for both UFE essays and the CBHP essay are 4000 characters. My D is working on her essays now. 4000 characters is NOT a lot of writing given the prompts that they’ve provided. She’s actually having a harder time in editing to get the number below 4000. You’ll need to be direct and leave out “fluff.” Good luck.</p>

<p>D submitted her essays yesterday. One was 3997 characters and the other was 3910. She also had to edit to make them fit!</p>
