<p>well basically, i want to wait until late june to get a loan because of possible scholarship money i can get from local stuff around my town.</p>
<p>i'd like to make the loan as small as possible (somewhere around 6-7 grand).</p>
<p>but if i do it now, it would probably be 10,000.</p>
<p>should i do it now, or wait later?</p>

<p>I am wondering the same thing. I know right now what the amount is that will be needed for our parent loan; but there will be local scholarships given out on honors night the first week in June. So we are hoping for a little more help. We are also counting on my son’s summer employment to go towards his EdVest account which, in turn, will go toward his tuition. So I am wondering if applying for the parent loan can wait until mid-June when we have a better “feel” for the actual amount needed. </p>
