How Long did It Take You to Finish HP 7?

it took me 2 days. I wish I knew how to read 759 (or some other crazy #) in 2 hours....

About 8 hours over two days. I am going back and looking at different things having the advantage now of reading some spoilers - things I missed like Snape's saying "look at me".

8 or 9 hours over 3 days because I was at work and kept getting interrupted. I've been told I am a fast reader, so no idea how someone could finish it in 2 hours. Wow.

i finished it in about 2 days, but that's just impossible to read it in 2 hours lol

7 hours from 12-7 on that saturday..kinda wanna read it again incase i missed something

I know there are a lot of smart in CC with 2400 SATs and 4.0 GPAs, but seriously TWO hours!?!?

...is that they are lieing.

Four hours, fifteen minutes, not lying.

that's a little more reasonable.

Probably 8 or 9 hours. The middle dragged on a bit... :P

Around five hours, but that's including breaks for dinner and such. I could've read it faster if I'd just skimmed for plot, but I don't really enjoy that type of reading, so I took my time. (I'm honestly not trying to show off here; I'm just a freakishly fast reader.)

Not including sleep, about 12 hours.

Not to prolong the discussion or anything, it's essentially pointless, but 2 hours isn't really impossible. I did it in 2 myself, and I know a person who did it in 1 hour 40 minutes... In the end it's all a matter of personal choice, personally, I always speed read, especially when I'm reading a book for the first time, and 300 pages an hour isn't unheard of at all for a good speed reader... So be just a little bit slower in calling people liars NotAmbidextrous. (I've known people who've done 400-500 pages an hour in front of my eyes, trust me, it can happen)

Shrivats, the point is that 2 hours is equivalent to a page every 10 seconds. That means you really couldn't have understood each page, fully, period, neh?

Well yeah, it is, but seriously, it works, don't ask me how it works, but it works. It's not perfect, I'd estimate I have about an 85-90% comprehension, but that's good enough for a first read really. :) (Plus the first read's mainly about finding out what happens at the end anyway) On the other hand, there are much faster readers out there. I'm personally of the view that up to about 500 pages an hour is possible, I've done 450 once before a History Exam, though that was stuff that I'd mostly read before. It's not that hard, honest, it just needs a bit of practice... (and a bit of concentration)

About a week. lol.

I could have read it in a night but I really, really wanted to savor this last book. It was worth. Totally epic. :)

yea i tried to read as slow as possible since its the last one. tear

about 15 hours

i thought i was pretty fast but apparently im wrong
