How long did NESCAC schools give your D/S to accept a slot/tip after an overnight?

I am wondering how long a coach usually gives before they want an answer yes or no? Or do you think it depends on how much the coach wants you?

It always depends but as most NESCAC schools having ED (not EA or SCEA) the coach will pose it as “Are you willing to apply ED?” (Of course, this conversation will happen after the coach has gotten a green light from the Admissions Committee (therefore after all of your academic information has been submitted).

At Williams the ED deadline was Nov 10th last year so the conversation has to happen with enough time to give the recruit time to write the supplemental application so before that date.

How much time do they give? Obviously that depends as well on the number of slots, the depth of his recruit chart and how high the recruit is on that chart.

Thanks etondad…my concern was… if D/S goes on 3-4 overnights, whether it matters how to schedule them? I am recommending to D that if posible, she go to each one and decide after visiting. But just wondering if coaches say “let me know next week!” But you haven’t done all your overnights.
