<p>How long did it take you to write the Princeton essays and applications? How many schools is it realistic to apply to? 10 max? 15 max? 20 max?</p>
<p>It took me about ~3 hours. I only applied to 5 schools.</p>
<p>I applied to 8 schools I think. I know a lot of people who applied to a similar amount. I think over 10 is pushing it, but that’s my opinion. And the time spent on essays really varies depending on the person. My roommate started his essay the summer before, and I wrote mine hungover on January 1st of the deadline. Still I’d start early. How long does it take before you are completely satisfied with an essay? 10 hours, 40? 60?</p>
