Okay... I am an extremely busy senior... seriously I don't have about 10 min to take a break and rest each day bc I am a lead actor in school play and all that...
I really need to work on my prompts though..

How long did it take for u guys to write the essays?
And any tip for second prompt?? (Do I write about what I want to do?)

I would LOVE to read u guys' prompts. Send it to me.

P.S.
I really need some help revising from my ENG teacher, but we will be out next week for thanksgiving, and all the teachers are cramming everything into this week...
I hope she will correct my work during thanksgiving. ha.

writing an essay can take any from 30 mins to 2 hours. it just depends on how much of “you” you put into it. im sure you can find some time to write them, maybe 15 mins here and there to put a little time into working on your masterpiece every day instead of sitting down and writing the whole thing at one time

I am also an extremely busy senior. I found some time to get a start, like half an hour, then every evening before bed I edit a paper copy of it. The next day at school I type the changes during lunch, write a few more sentences, and print it again to be revised. It has resulted in a great essay so I plan to do it for the rest of my essays.

that’s a good idea because I have had trouble starting and sticking with my essay and never end up having the time I originally set aside for it. So, I think I will try to do a little every day and see where it goes. Thanks

usually takes me like a weekend time to completely finish one essay putting in maybe 2 or 3 hours in each day but between the facebooking and youtubing id say i actually only do about 45 minutes of real work in that time interval

I am an extremely busy senior and i took 4 weeks to write my essays… set aside some time each weekend and write a portion, then between school activities pull it out and read it and make corrections throughout the week. then on the weekend take the time you set aside, i took 30 before bed… to retype what you corrected throughout the week… this makes really good essays… or at least it worked for me.

i’m gonna be honest. i took about 45 minutes to an hour to write my common app. essay and everyone who has read it loves it. I guess it depends what kind of writer you are.

I wanted to write it months before I actually did. Yay procrastination. When you try too hard, it won’t come. I was watching tv one day, then a spark of inspiration came to me. And with that, it took me around 20-30 min to type it out. The editing took a little longer but my english teacher who edited my paper was being really anal about word choice.
