How long did you study, and what score did you get?
If your math SAT/ACT score increased, how did you prepare for it?
A loooonnnnngggg time haha! I think the best way to improve is to get a prep book (Barron’s, Princeton Review, the Real ACT Red book or the blue book) and to keep doing math problems and learning those concepts. Math is probably the easiest section to improve on since it’s mostly testing concept not skill
I am in Calculus 3, and the math act has been killing me.
I got a 25…and then a 27. I did not study at all and improved by 2 points . I am taking practice tests now and I am showing a steady 30 or so, and I am looking over all practice problems. I find that If i look over what I get wrong, it is half speed errors. I tend to do the first 40 or so in 20 minutes, and make simple mistakes. We could both increase our scores by a few points by slowly reading the questions and making sure to notice small differences (surface area, area) or forgetting to add something.
Go slow, focus on each subject area, and review missed questions.
