<p>On D's status page they are saying "within 10 weeks" from the completion date of her application. Did it say that on your too or less?</p>
<p>10 weeks is the longest the wait can be for a decision. All applicants receive the message "within 10 weeks" although of course it could come earlier, it will not come later than that.</p>
<p>does it show up on the internet the same time they send the letter?</p>
<p>for me, it came online actually the day before they sent the letter.</p>

<p>September 10th - November 20th i think ... it was right before thanksgiving. Online it showed up about 4-5 days before I got the letter, 1) because it was thanksgiving, and 2) becuase mail takes a while to get to pennsylvania</p>

<p>i just checked online and it said i got in, 3 weeks on the dot. i was pretty surprised cuz i wasnt expecting to hear anything until mid january.</p>

<p>well im not one who has a right to say anything about admissions procedures, but i doubt it's a bad sign. mine could have taking less time because i applied to carlson which is pretty small, or maybe i just happened to get mine in at a good time. i would like to think that i was one of the applicants whose application was automatically accepted because of good stats, but thats probly not the case haha, i was merely average if that. i wouldnt sweat it, as you see the average wait time seems to be 6-8 weeks. good luck, i hope your d gets in!</p>

<p>thanks alot waknor! no my stats were dead average, 28 ACT top 8-9% of class. cant get much more average than that for carlson haha. once again thanks a lot, im really excited about it! and good luck to everyone else, id like to see other people on here get in because everyone (on minnesotas page anyway) is very nice. once again, best of luck to everyone : )</p>
