<p>I think that some schools keep the applications on file for 2-3 years.</p>

<p>In most cases, if you have been rejected from a school, you would have to submit a new application</p>

<p>They probably keep them if there are any issues that show up right away. A lawsuit or such, but yeah, they recycle them (sounds better than shredding all that hard work into little bitty pieces)</p>

<p>What kind of issues? Why would there be a lawsuit? Sorry, this is all news to me…</p>
