<p>i would think it unwise to base your decision based on workload; obviously there are times when you’ll feel like every spare moment is filled with studying, and times when you won’t.</p>
<p>given the nature of problem sets, midterms, and finals, averages aren’t usually representative of the norm anyway; one night you’d pull an all-nighter perhaps, and the next you’d sleep all day. it really depends.</p>
<p>That aside, BusinessWeek has done a ranking of the hardest working undergrad business schools. According to BW, Wharton students average out 16.4 hrs. of homework every week. Forgive me, but are your referring to the University of Texas @ Austin
(McCombs)? If so, they average out 14.7 hrs. a week of workload. Take these numbers for what they are worth (probably not much). Like tenebrousfire was saying, you’ll have quite the range of studying anywhere you go. I hope this helps at all!</p>
