So, I've been trying to plan out several prep school interviews for the SAME DAY (same evening actually, this is the only time they're all available, off-campus, but with AOs). But I can't figure out how much time I need for each. Last year, I remember having interviews that went on for an hour or more, and ones that only lasted about 10 min.

At the moment, I am planning them out, so that I have 45 min for each school. Would this be enough time? I'm not worried about them not being long enough. I just need to make sure I have enough time, so I'm not late to then next one. Is there anyway I can insure that I have enough time? Is it rude/inappropriate/hurt-my-chances to tell interviewers that I have other plans (other interviews)?

Thanks… I believe I gave each one 45 minutes. Will that be enough? Is there anyway to make sure it’ll be enough time, like tell them or something? I feel like that would be rude though.

I don’t think it’s enough time. I would allot 1 hour each (Yes, I understand that there is no tour and these are offsite, but I think that’s reasonable.)

None of my interviews went over an hour, but you should definitely allot more than 45 minutes for each interviewer. It’s not necessarily rude to tell them that you have a time restraint, but it may hurt your chances if you aren’t able to answer all the questions or answer them to the best of your ability just because you didn’t have the time to.
