Okay, so my application for ASU's Barrett Honor College has been "in review" for more than a week now. I understand that these things take some time, but am wondering how long on average it takes for an application to be read and decided on. Thanks!

Don’t complain, my reg ASU app from 10/27 is still in Pending

Depends on what criteria are used, particularly how much in the way of subjectively evaluated criteria are used.

Also, some schools may give decisions on a rolling basis (whether or not they say that they do), while others may wait until all decisions are made and then issue them all at once. If the school merely promised a decision by April 1, then you may have to wait that long, but you may get the decision sooner.

@wildfactor Not complaining- just asking! :)

I know ASU is rolling- I submitted my app in October (so by the November 1st priority deadline) and my Barrett app a few days before the November 15th deadline. I got my response from ASU that I am accepted in mid November and my Barrett was in review the next day. (Just for context.)

Thank you again!

@honestlyfreaked: May I ask you a question? Will any comment, experience or advice provided on the thread make even an iota of difference in Barrett’s timing? I certainly understand that you’re anxious, but there are times in life where you simply have to be patient and await the relevant information/decision. It’s not easy, but – realistically – you have no alternative.

@TopTier It’s more like I am curious about it and would like to hear about the experience’s of others in terms of how long it took. Thank you for your advice
