How long does it take for colleges to receive SAT scores??

I did not realize that SAT scores would take 1-2 weeks to be sent as this is my first time sending scores and I just sent them today. QuestBridge has indicated that the colleges must receive all my supplement materials by Monday, Nov. 4th. Any chance that they will still receive my scores on time? How long does it take for the scores to be sent although it says 1-2 weeks? I'm really nervous and worried now T__T

You cannot change it, so nothing to worry about. I’m sure all will be fine.

These scores are all sent electronically; how long does it take to send an email or its equivalent?

I can’t imagine any part of the process is done by hand anymore once your scores are in the system, it’s just too inefficient. So the only question that remains is how often batches are compiled and sent out. Probably daily; certainly no worse than weekly.

There are still a few schools out there that don’t receive scores electronically which is why collegeboard advises the 1-2 week time frame. But, Questbridge certainly isn’t one of those. You’ll be fine.

Thank you all. I guess the only thing I can do now is just hope for the best :)

Yeah, I had this same question. I’ll probably be submitting my scores/PROFILE this thursday or friday.

I don’t want to be the worry wort, but I’m REALLY worried. I sent my SAT scores last Thursday and my ACT scores on the 22nd, but Stanford says they still haven’t processed any scores :frowning: according to ACT it varies with each school as to when they want to download them, so hopefully it’ll be soon!?

^ You will be fine! What can you do to change it? Sometimes (often) schools are slow to update their “received” information online.

Another question for QB finalists and/or anyone who knows. On the list it says colleges must receive anything by Monday. Does it mean the last day for us to turn in materials is this Sunday? We have to wait till January to turn in the FAFSA right?

Correct. There is no way to turn in the FAFSA any sooner. January is as soon as it can be done.

If you are sending scores from previous months, it does take about a week. I don’t know why, but it does.
If you are sending scores from November, they will be sent on the day the November scores are released
