How long does it take for the Yale 2014 shirt to arrive?

Another question: Are the shirts available to RD acceptees as well?
Thanks!

haha I’m wondering that too!!!

as for your second question, i’m assuming yes

mine hasn’t come yet, so i’m assuming it’ll come next week sometime.

and yes, shirts are certainly available to RD acceptees as well.

on another note, i’m SO hoping i get navy as opposed to heather gray!

From the thread posted last year, it may not arrive until Jan. 20th.

I got mine in three days but I was regular. takes longer for early people.

SAME!
i want a blue shirt!!!

I don’t really care which color I get as long as I get one!

I’m pretty sure that some of the slowness has to do with the holiday rush.

What does it look like? Can somebody post a picture, I’m curious.

I got mine about two weeks after ordering last year, but that was in the RD round.

The website says to expect the shirt “sometime in the next few weeks”, so I could see it being like last year and taking until mid-January, though I hope it comes sooner.
Looking at last year’s t-shirt thread is interesting… there’s a discussion about how everybody felt too awkward to wear the shirt around friends… do you guys think you’ll be comfortable wearing it to school?

everyone at school knows or doesn’t care, so i’m planning on it. not a big deal for me, considering how few people know what yale IS, let alone care enough to be offended.

@southeasttitan, it’s very basic: Yale* in big print on front, *2014 on back. in gray or navy, but i am SO hoping for navy. btw, i totally followed your decision last year as i thought our stats were somewhat similar (writers from midwest).

yeah there is NO way I can wear mine to school. One person at my school got rejected and two others were deffered. I really don’t want to make them feel bad or hate me more than they already do…competition is harsh at my school

opposite here- i would very much like the heather gray

ah im trying to find a zipup heather gray or white hoodie online…it is proving a little difficult. im enjoying the search though! :)

yeah i can’t wear mine to school… i’d probably get more than a dozen dirty looks
i think a little less than 20 kids at my school applied SCEA
and i want blue too!! :)

Hehe. The navy shirt looks a lot cooler but I don’t mind what I get. I haven’t got mine yet but I considered wearing it outside, since some of my friends wore their Stanford shirts last admissions round, but I don’t think I’ll do it. Two of my friends got deferred, and since they’re a bit sad. I really do feel them, which is why I’m keeping a low profile anyway. I hope they do just fine during regular decisions :)

I’m hoping for blue… does anybody else find the period and star a bit odd?

Not really, I thought they were charming. I’m hoping for blue too - but there’s no way I can ever wear mine to school, I’d probably get lynched or something. :P

Oh yeah, Tres Elefantes, I remember you! Congrats :)

The 2014 shirt sounds almost exactly like last year’s. Yale’s new thing is the asterisk…but we didn’t get two colors, lol.

I want blue–and I definitely can’t wear mine to school :(

I’ve always wondered what they stood for. Yale’s love of writing and punctuation? The viewbook did say that Yalies took writing and publishing super seriously :P

Any chance Yale gonna send both?
