hey guys, if I can get 30 credits this year I am allowed to graduate one year early from high school, I am going to start taking classes at the college on the weekend for my high school credits, how long and how many classes would it take to get 30 credits. I am a junior in high school. Like i said I would be taking them saturday and sunday.

That depends on how many credits you get for each class. Some schools give 1 credit per semester. Some schools give 5 per semester.

5 per class each semester.

lets see. 30credits/5credits per class per semester

=6 classes.

lol I know that. But if I took 2 classes every weekend, would this work out?

it might if you had three trimesters to take classes in

2classes*3 trimesters=6

Or 3 quarters. Or, you could take 3 per semester.

what’s the point of this? If you want to start college next fall, you need to be thinking about applications, essays, recommendations, SAT/ACT and that sort of thing right now which will be a huge distraction given your courseload. taking on such a heavy load could well reduce your GPA, rank and, most important, the amount you are actually learning. not to mention you won’t have time to be involved in much of anything outside the classroom. why the hurry?
