<p>I submitted my online application on tuesday (non automatic admission, I am .05 GPA away from it. I have a 3.35) and transcripts should have been mailed out on Wed/Thurs</p>
<p>It’s hard to predict when you’ll get an acceptance notice for non-auto admits, partly it depends on how many auto-admits they get in the early notification round. In any case, you should get notification that they received your application fairly quickly once all the required documents arrive at admissions. I’d say, probably 2-3 weeks? I can’t remember exactly, but it’s not terribly long. You’ll get a housing reservation form with the acknowledgment of receipt of your app. Make sure to send that back even though you haven’t been accepted yet. It’ll reserve a spot for you in the dorms next fall.</p>
<p>It’s hard to predict when your official acceptance notification will come since they have to figure out/project the auto-admit numbers, but I think as long as you’ve met the high school course requirements you should be in good shape for admission.</p>
<p>They’ll send you logon info with your acknowledgement of receipt of your app so you can check the status of your app online. Don’t be surprised if it turns up as “pending review” or words to that effect. That just means you’re not an auto-admit so they need to review your application.</p>
<p>Oh okay, so I’m guessing I’m not going to know by October 30th when I am going to Duck Preview.</p>
<p>It’s possible you’ll know by then, but even if you don’t you should go to the Duck Preview. With a GPA just barely a shade under auto-admit, assuming you did the recommended high school coursework, I don’t think admissions is going to be iffy for you.</p>

<p>i got the first letter within a week of when i applied.
i was automatic admission, and it literally took four days after they receieved my scores/transcript for them to send me my acceptance.
