for you to hear if you got accepted or not after they receive everything?
thanks in advance :D

i've applied at ucf about a month ago, they never got my first high school transcript. sent in another one with express mail, but they got it week later, which was the 28th according to them. they told me to call back within a week, since that's how long it takes to process, but when i called today, they told me to wait 2-3 weeks more.. >.>
i dont want to have to wait until the last moment to hear that i got accepted or denied.. i gotta prepare T_T;; ugh..

yeah, even if you send it overnight… somehow, they say they dont get it until about week later… even if you put signature confirmation or whatever… >.> which term did you apply for?

I know that this isn’t something everyone wants to hear, but keep in mind just because UCF is rolling admissions does not mean you hear right away. If you are a not a “bubble” candidate in terms of having the stats, you get your admittance within a “reasonable” amount of time. However, if you are a “bubble” candidate, they make you wait at least until you’ve sent your 7th semester grades. So, make sure that you do really well this fall semester. In some cases they are also waiting to see if you retake a standardized test in the event your test scores are “iffy.” Yes, they do look at other things, i.e. extra-curriculars, essay, etc., but for some … it’s a matter of seeing how well you “stack up” against the rest of the students going for admission. And you can submit your application for quite awhile yet (not sure of the final date), which means they do not fill all their available admission slots w/ those who apply early. Not saying that anyone specifically is a weak candidate, I assure you I have no idea of your stats or where you stand, but I do know this is what we were told during the Q & A session w/ 2 different kids who applied previously.

hey zebes… what do you mean a bubble candidate? are you talking about average range…? oh and i mean… i was accepted to usf for spring 2012, but i think i had more chance being accepted cuz i was returning former student. (or does that matter at all?)
i’ll be considered as a transfer student, and applying for spring 2012 term… been out of college for like 2 years and trying to get back.

does anybody know how long it takes for ucf to process for transfer students?.. and if its any different compared to new* freshman students applying?

eventhough i was accepted at my old school, i reallly want to go to ucf… it seems they have better program for one i’m applying for :)

oh @problemofchoice, i just saw your same reply in another post…
but yeah… when did you apply for school? i mean, i applied a month ago, but they took 3 weeks to process my transcript… they processed it on friday… or thursday… so i’m not sure how long it’d take

we sent my D transcript and they received it 9/20 they still are making a decision so I dont know how these other students get in so fast- she has a 25 act and 3.8 recalculated gpa i think she is on the bubble for act but high up in the gpa so she should get in for summer??? My S is a sophmore there and loves it we are oos from PA

I sent my transcripts in electronically a few days before I sent my application for fall- they received both at about the same time. I heard back in less than two weeks - I was surprised!

I applied 09/13/15 and still haven’t been notified as of 10/15. They have all my transcripts and information…
I don’t know how much longer they will take.
My SAT and ACT weren’t the best but I have rigorous core classes throughout my 4 years in high school such as Dual Enrollment, AICE, and AP. I have been class president for 5 years, and took various leadership roles in different clubs throughout my 4 years in high school. I participated in various tours at UCF and The Rosen College in order to get a feel on what it would be like to be a knight for a day.
I have 880 community service hours.
I did the two essay questions.
I don’t know what else to do. UCF is my dream school and everyone is telling me that I will get accepted but I’m just nervous.
