how long does it typically take YOU to complete homework? when & where?

...same as above ^

to add more information, post your typical daily schedule and the intenseness of your academic classes.

(i know intenseness isn't a word)

Typical Winter Schedule
3-4:45 Yearbook
4:45-5-snack
5-7-homework while watching television
7-9-television/read
9-10:30 piano
10:30-11 read
11-sleep
7:15-wake up

I don't do homework, I'm a slacker. But I do study for tests, and that takes about 1-2 hrs per test, unless it's math, 'cause then I don't study at all. Homework is a waste of time for me, and all of my teachers have gotten used to the idea of me not doing homework, so they don't even take points off my average, probably since I ace their classes and tests anyway. I like to read a lot outside of school too, which is what I do for much of my time awake...I either sleep or read random books in and out of school.

^^ Lucky you! I wish I had more time to read. There are so many things I need to finish before I die and more to come---I can't waste time with homework.
It takes me a while to do HW---I get home @ 5, or 7-8 when I have sports b/c I live so far away. It's hard to do HW, do a lot of ECs w/ leadership roles and hang out w/ friends when the commute takes more than an hour. Ugh. Ugh.
Oh sorry, I didn't answer the question: It takes me about 3 hours to do all of my homework. Ridiculous. And if I don't do it, they actually do take points off of my grade.
P.S. Intensity, maybe?

I don't do homework anymore. I have 12 days of high school left, and I'm enjoying it to the fullest. Besides, teachers aren't giving out homework anymore. They know that seniors probably aren't going to do it. It's all review for the AP tests anyway.

first semester i would take me forevever. from 4pm-1pm

but now im hardly studying (shame on me) i am practicing tennis everday though!

im not behind on hw. im just not studying for aps, sats, and act.

typically, I spend about 2 hrs a day, not including projects, reading, ect. I spend a lot more time studying though.

Its funny... I always got by with not studying until last year

< 1 hour per day

How do you get by with not doing homework? At my school homeworks are always graded (~5 or 10pts each). Not doing it gets you an automatic 0.

For me, I can usually get my homework done during other classes. My math class spends at least 10 minutes talking about football or last night's TV, and most of my teachers don't mind if I have another textbook open.

All studying I do at home.

"(i know intenseness isn't a word)"

intensity? hehee

most of high school---> maybe an hour a day

senior year-----> my gpa is about a 3.6 compared to the 4.3 i had last year...need i say more?

Like 30 minutes at 8:30 when Colbert Report comes on. Sometimes I may do it in lunch or free time during school. I only study for math classes and I usually spend like an hour.

I do alot during school.

During evenings, I spend anywhere from 3-6 hours on homework.

Wow, I'm jealous at some of the schedules you guys've posted. I totally wish I was as good as time management as some of you. Anyway, I'm a procrastinator, so generally I just do my HW for my classes before lunch and then do my HW for classes after lunch during lunch (as the school lunch is generally not worth feasting upon). I'm not sure how long it takes - for me it takes longer than it should since I'm easily distracted ;)

"Whenever" aka 10 pm - 2-3 am (I aim for 2) the night/morning before/when its due.

If I ever get bored in class I do some though, those are the nights I get more sleep.
