After being rejected, can one reapply after 1st semester of high school if gpa has been brought up?
How do you know you were rejected?
So, if someone was rejected for Fall of 2017, you are asking could they reapply for the Fall of 2017 once they have their first semester grades of their senior year in HS? If that is what you are asking then it would seem like the school would have not rejected the applicant and asked for the semester grades in which they would make their decision at a later date.
If you are a senior and were rejected for fall of 2017 it would seem like there are two possible options. One would be to take a gap year and reapply for fall of 2018 and see if you can raise your GPA up. The second one would be to enroll at another school for Fall of 2017 and then look at transferring into MSU for the Fall of 2018. I would think doing a Gap year would be a risky option. Just my opinion.
If that is your actual situation, I would suggest calling admissions and speaking to someone about the options available. I don’t think if someone received a rejection that one semester of HS grades would make a difference because if it did, it would seem like admissions would have requested the additional information and waited on making their decision.
For anyone rejected, but really wants to go to MSU then I would look at the option of doing your first year somewhere else, get your GPA where it needs to be and then apply to transfer into you Sophomore year.
