They, not they. They add stuff to games. They ride scooters. They do clock arithmetic. They hate rockers. They are the % operator. And they kill people with more than one account :/

^ That sounds like some advertisement for new energy solutions with modern piano music in the background

March of this year.

I’m scared? o.o

Lurked for a few months, then joined in march of this year I believe. All because of my Gates scholarship app.

november 2008.

I think I lurked for about 2 weeks before joining halfway through my sophomore year.

Yay, I’m the oldest so far! I started CC in 2005 when I was beginning 8th grade. However, I was lurking for at least a year before that lol. I’ve been stressing out about college since 5th grade (thx mom and dad!)

that is really pathetic^^

i didnt start stressing about college until right before apps were due.

and i got into emory.

must suck to prepare your whole life to go to college and not go to a super good ivy type school when i dont do anything and go to a pretty good school LOL

^
Wow, ego much?

First off, I’m pretty sure Wash U. qualifies as your so-called “super good ivy type”. The school’s education and statistics are on par with many of the Ivy League schools. I’m not going to a college for the name or prestige; I’m going because Wash U. was a good fit for me. I had the opportunity to attend Dartmouth, but I chose not to because I felt more comfortable at WU.

Also, I would much rather be overprepared than “not doing anything” as you said. That kind of mindset of preparing little yet expecting big results will destroy you in college.

However, I don’t feel offended because after reading through some of your previous posts, I’ve found a pattern of rude and uncalled for comments. Keep in mind that people only make such comments when they feel insecure about themselves and want to boost their ego by putting other people down.

WashU blows. (sorry…emory hatin’. we have sweet fake rivalry)

you kept up with my posts? i think im either creeped out…or aroused. either way ill be breakin out the lotion when the 'rents leave

I browsed around starting October of sophomore year. I made an account in May of sophomore year.

Lurked for a month, joined a little later.
Been here for 2 years…so…since my sophomore year?
Was never active til the end of Junior year.
Yes, I enjoy typing in sentence fragments.
Damn.

Two summers ago, I discovered a website called College Confidential.

One summer ago, I joined College Confidential.

My sour and hairy presence has been, well, present ever since. . . .

I joined relatively recently.

Yes you did! 2007 is very early, in fact. . . heehee

^ Conveniently, I did not specify the object of comparison. :)

stop lying!!! Really??? I joined in August 2008 kinda and just got here :/

I didn’t think about college until I watched the Emory boards during ED I this year. Then I freaked out about my classes and made an account to ask a question, my only thread. :3
