how long is a paragraph

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>The USC supplements ask for one paragraph. However, the broad USC supplement gives a limit of 3500 characters...thats one huge paragraph. Currently, mine is about 2000 characters, but is a huge block on text...should I keep it that way?</p>

<p>Also, as I am applying to Viterbi, about how long are peoples supplements for those?</p>

<p>The instructions say approximately one paragraph. I’m not sure why it is worded that vaguely but it seems to me that gives the writer some discretion about exactly how long it should be, and whether it is “approximately” a paragraph.</p>

<p>My general supplement was more than 3000 characters long, broken into many paragraphs. My Viterbi Supplements were around 200 words each, in one paragraph. I also think that the instructions are very confusing!</p>

<p>For the Viterbi supplement, did you all do 2 paragraphs in the same essay? or just 2 separate responses labeled 1 and 2.</p>
