I’ve heard that usually it’s 1 or 2 pages. But the very successful ones i’ve seen are 3-5 pages. What is the recommended length?

maximum 2 pages....they arent going to read 5 pages of resume, most suggest a cut off at 2 pages

High school resume: try to keep it at 2 maximum. They'll either be angry at having to read more, or just literally won't read it.

If someone gives you a guilt trip about exceeding 1 page, keep in mind that's the standard for graduate and professional resumes, not high school.

2 is VERY SHORt!?

my regional rep told me she hated reading long resumes...she said the only ones she really read in detail are the one page ones. The rest she'll just glance over things or not read the last few pages. Seriously keep it to 1-2 pages. For a resume to look professional personally i'd suggest 1 page...having a resume longer than 1-2 page can make you seem kind of cheesy (no offense).

yeh, i agree. keeping it to 1-2 pages forces you to choose the important stuff!

Two pages is the best I'd say (unless you can make it less).

yeah, I tried to make mine 1 page, but it was too hard so I made it two pages...I wouldn't go over that amount.
