<p>I bet many people have already posted this question, but how long should the common app essay be? What is too short and what is too long? (although I imagine too long is worse than too short)</p>
<p>Both are equally bad. A one page essay is far too short, and a 3 page essay is pushing it. I would say that you shouldn’t exceed 2.5 pages. About 800 words.</p>
