how long should the short answers be?

...it doesn't specify a length, or not one i can see...but im assuming 250 is standard?

I think my short answer was a paragraph

generally 100 - 200 words if not 350 - 500

1st is for slackers, end is for goody-goodies sen serfers

2ts are sp tute!!! + tax that is in Tx with a 7.225 sales taks

my 10 year-old has been on the computer pretending to be me during this thread...sorry!

I talked to an admissions rep and she said a paragraph. Even going half a page (singe-space) is not a good idea. Keep it short and simple.

I wrote my application RHP.. has the same format as the regular USC applicant and wrote around 250-450 words for the short answers. Of course, when i double spaced it, it turned out to be two pages... but singled spaced it was 1/2-3/4 of a page

i think a paragraph means a pargraph. 250 to 450 words is a lot for a paragraph.

are you guys going to douple space? me and a friend were wondering about that (in general) and we didn't know if double spacing was more professional or the exact opposite.

^nevermind, it says on the top to double space =P

? what? where does it say to double space???????

wait for the online app...it's supposed to be single spaced right?

curiousmother has a pretty weird 10 yr old.

sigh odd...um guys?...one of my short answers is about 260's words...my other other short answer is shorter and my full length essay is only 560's words. So do you think having a 260s word for short answer would be fine?...because they suggested one paragraph...and my 260s word one is 3 paragraphs? thankyou so much =D

also does the indenting thing work for anyone on the actual essay prompt...i know for the short answers it works but how bout the actual essay?

and i chose not to do the optional short answer. i don't think it would hurt us...i mean i didn;t answer the additional comments thing for the ucs either =D

OMG I CANNOT SHORTEN MY FIRST RESPONSE IT STAYS 3 paragraphs...OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGg...............w/e...i think i'll just keep it 3 since i'm not answering the optional rsp...

thanks sparetire
