How long should the Short Answers be?

<p>For the short answers, how long should they be?</p>

Freshman applicants: Please answer questions 1 and 2.</p>

<li><p>Tell us about an activity that is important to you, and why. Please feel
free to talk about an activity other than one you may have discussed
in your essay.</p></li>
<li><p>Describe your academic interests and how you plan to pursue them
at USC. Please feel free to address your first- and second-choice
major selections.</p></li>

<p>I found a few old threads on this subject and most have said a concise 100-200 words feels like the right amount. The closer to 100 the better as they are “short” and it states they should be 1 paragraph only.</p>
