How long should the written prompts be?

<p>I'm applying as a transfer student and on the supplement there are three written prompts all of which have a 500 character limit which seems extremely small. </p>

<p>I have written 117 words and have 654 characters accounted for, something seems wrong.</p>

<p>It does seem wrong, but that’s how it is. I had the same problem. It really means 500 characters. lol</p>
