How long should you wait?

Hello,

I applied to 12 schools to their PhD in Neuroscience - I got accepted into a few and got rejected by a few. That I can deal with but there are still 5 schools who have not contacted me with a NO/Interview/Waitlist. Has anyone heard from the following schools?

Vanderbilt
Northwestern
Case Western Reserve
Loyola U Chicago
Rush University

Does this long wait mean they've rejected me but are just waiting to send out a mass e-mail to all rejected candidates? Or have these schools yet to make a decision? Or is this the communication-free method of wait-listing someone?

I don’t know about Case Western’s neuroscience but, their umbrella program had two interview weekends in February. I interviewed there and got put on the waitlist until the second interview weekend so, I’m assuming I was rejected at this point.

All the schools I called told me what was going on with my application so, if you really want to know just do that.

Thank you!
