Hi everyone, my daughter was asked to take PLAN, because she is a transfer student who had never taken it before. I am just wondering usually how long we can receive the test result. Thank you

PLAN? As in the “PSAT” of the ACT? That depends on the school and how fast they get the scores back to the students.

Thank you, yes it is PLAN for ACT, just as PSAT for SAT. My daughter took PLAN last month, and I am wondering when we can get the result.

Oh, ok.

Yes, it’s dependent on the school. My school held the scores and waiting to hold individual counselor-student meetings to discuss the student’s strengths, aptitudes, etc., while a neighboring school handed the scores out as soon as they got them.

I really wish I remembered how long it took for my scores to get back. It could’ve been a month or…Goodness, I can’t remember.

Perhaps, you can call the school an ask them when the scores are expected to come in?

My daughter took the PLAN in October of her sophomore year and the results were mailed home around December or early January

Definitely call the school and ask. Like the other poster, our school holds the PLAN (which all students take) and releases them in individual student-GC meetings. That period of time from taking the test to giving the packet to the student was 6-8 weeks. The school may very well have the scores earlier so your school should be able to answer your question.
