did you use the BU brain access login id and pw? i guess i didnt get in yet :(

I think that is the fastest way to find out for admission result.

good luck guys and just let me know if U need any help

I had a same problem like you guys.

gluck

Checked the PayDeposit site and I had the option to make a deposit for Harpur Fall 2012. Little surprised that I got in but super grateful nonetheless.

Haven’t gotten any indication of acceptance in the (e)mail, but I was able to log into Pay Deposit!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

@datguyaj-congrats on your acceptance! I have a question I’m hoping you can help me with. Like you, I was deferred EA. Now I am waiting to find out whether i’m accepted, waitlisted, or rejected and it seems to be taking forever. Some people I know have been accepted, and some rejected, and there’s a bunch of us who were deferred EA who are still waiting. So my question is, do you remember when you were notified that you had been waitlisted? Was it April 1st or somewhat earlier? In other words, if I haven’t heard from Bing by April 1st, can I assume on April 1st that I am going to be notified that I was waitlisted? Or are they sending out rejections and acceptances right up til April 1st? Thanks for any help you can provide!

By the way what is EA?

EA stands for Early Action; i.e. applying by an earlier deadline in the hopes of receiving an offer of admission (or rejection) earlier. A lot of people (like me) who apply to Bing EA end up being deferred to regular decision consideration so we have to wait for a decision anyway :(

@andrewkimny, which school were you applying to?

hopefully that makes a difference in when the acceptance decisions come out :(

I applied only two schools: NYU stern, Bing (SOM)

has there been any transfer acceptances this week?

i applied right before the march first deadline - give or take a day or 2. any idea when i should hear back? seems like bing is taking awhile with their decisions this year. early april? late april?

im waiting too… havent gotten any response yet…

I was accepted about 3 week ago as a transfer for Fall 2012.

See you all there!

im in. i got an email yesterday and a letter today

i haven’t gotten an email, a letter yet, my admissions page hasn’t changed and i cant log into the pay my deposit area… i know that notifications would be mailed by today, more than likely they wont be done until Monday but my application was done over a 4 months ago, but apparently it was held up till a month ago, when i didn’t hear anything after 3 months since it was completed. if i have yet to hear anything do u think i still have a chance of at least hearing relatively soon or no? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, its a pain in the A$$ having to wait and still not hear anything or have my admissions page upadate! fingers crossed!!!

Are u a transfer student? my friend and i havent received any response yet…hope everything goes well…

yeah im a transfer…so atleast im not the only one that dosent know yet haha

im a transfer also… and still anxiously waiting even though i finished and submitted all the materials for my application by the middle of january…

i thought “rolling admissions” meant that whoever sent their application in first was reviewed first? is it not?

well… hopefully it isn’t because i didn’t receive any information whatsoever yet… sigh, good luck to all of us!

i had all of my things turned in and completed around that time, its ridiculous how long we have to wait to transfer in, u would think they would accept everyone bc they want our money  but im tired of waiting i wanan know already haha

I applied at the end of February, the 27th I think, and I heard back (accepted) about three weeks later. Like others, I actually got my financial aid information first, which made it sound like I was accepted. But I didn’t get the official acceptance snail mail or email for a couple more days.
