How long will it take to send SAT scores to a school?

I registered to take the SAT II's in October, and I put a college as a score recipient that i did not send scores to when I took the SAT I. My question is, will collegeboard send my SAT I score to that college immediately or after I take the SAT II's? Also, if cb doesnt send it immediately, how can I go about doing that?

If you list a college as a score recipient for the October tests, the College Board will send those and any prior scores when those October scores come out. It does not send your old scores now and then the new ones when they come out. If you want to send a previous SAT score immediately, you must go on-line and order it to be sent and pay the separate fee for sending the score.

If your issue is that you are applying early action or early decision to a college with a Nov 1 application deadline, then be aware that such colleges take the October test scores and as long as you put the college as a score recipient for the test, you will be deemed to have sent all those scores timely (those October scores and prior scores) even if they don’t arrive until after Nov 1.

Hi, I am still a little confused about the Oct SAT’s. I took them in May and did well but think I can do better so I signed up to take them again in OCT. I don’t want them automatically sent because if I do worse then I will send my May scores. But I want to apply Early Action to several schools so will that still be okay? I figure that I will see my scores around 10/19 and then can make a decision and then pick which ones to send. But will it be too late?
