Well I found two answers on different websites ( one saying 3 months is enough time and the other says not less a year! )
I already prepared for the SAT over 2 years and I didn’t get the results I want, and I want to try the ACT. So I think I should be now familiar with the Math Topics in the ACT to?
Also what are the best guidebooks and test prep for the ACT you suggest to me???
I’m appreciating to receive your answers and opinion
If you prepared so much for the SAT. Then you should be fine on the ACT. I did very little prep and got a 33
Prep for a minimum of 8 weeks.
This depends on your ability alone. Most people told me to prep for a minimum of 3 months. I studied for 12 days (30 minutes a day, and I spent 4 days doing one practice test each. So, 8 days of studying, 4 days of practice tests), and got a 30. I know a guy who studied for a week and got a 35, and another guy who studied for a month and got a 28.
Thanks Guys! I’ve collected this list of the best Review books and I want to know which one you find the best. Can you tell me your opinions? (I know already the red book)
a. Barron’s
b. The black book
c. UpYourScore
d. Princenton’s premium
e. The ACT for bad Test Takers
I’ve heard Barron’s is okay. If you have the Red Book, then buying the Black Book might be a good idea. If you don’t have the Red Book, then DO NOT buy the Black Book.
I don’t know about the rest.
That’s helpful, thanks a lot !
