<p>If you are an in-state top 9% ranked senior, you should have already received an acceptance to the university. Does your application say that all items needed for admission have been received? If not, that is why you have not received an admittance invitation. Auto admits are extended admission to UT within a day or two of UT receiving all the requisite information to compete your file. If you are outside the top 9%, it will take longer.</p>
<p>Also, be aware that you are offered acceptance into UT first, and then you will receive your major admission offer later.</p>
<p>Like txex86 said, you should get your auto-admit notification relatively soon. However, major admission, the only one that you care about, most likely won’t be for a while considering the new holistic application review process. My advice is to try your best not to worry about it anymore and continue on with the rest of your apps. If you’ve applied to a competitive major then the final decision may not arrive until March. If you’re worrying about it now then the sooner you forget about it the better. Your application is done. The results come in when they come in. Enjoy senior year!</p>
