how long ..

after UCF receives your transcripts, approximately how long until you receive an admission decision?

Hello seni0r. That answer is unknown. It appears that the applicants with the higher stats (ACT and GPA) are getting answers pretty quickly. Other, who have had their applications complete and submitted for over a month now are still waiting. It appears that the lower your scores, the longer your wait is.

Yeah, it really looks like they took the entire application pool and sorted by SAT, then started from the top and are working their way down.

Mine took 6 days after they got my completed application to when I got accepted

what were your scores, Censored, if you don’t mind me asking

-4.44 Weighted GPA (high school, I don’t know my recalculated UCF GPA)
-Ranked 125/746
-1300/1890 SAT
-27 ACT
-334 community service hours
-A total of 7 AP classes throughout high school
-2 dual enrollment classes
-A few EC’s such as debate and honor societies
-Florida resident, applied for summer

I’m just going to put this out there, and the truth is that NO ONE knows when they are going to get a decision. An estimate or guess to reassuring themselves, sure. But no one will ever know the exact date. I do know that the time/order that you applied doesn’t affect the time you get a decision all that much. They accept the people with the highest academic scores and profile first.

accepted today!!!

congrats! summer or fall?

I put my app in on the 8th, and got my letter on the 20th. It was postmarked on the 18th though, so it only took 10 ten days.

My transcripts came a few days after my app though, so even less time between the transcripts and the acceptance.

GPA- 3.4 UW; 3.9 W
3.7 recalculated GPA
(cores and foreign language only, that’s what USF looks at so I’m assuming UCF does too)

26 ACT composite
1740 SAT (came after acceptance though cause I took it October 1st)

I kind of feel like part of the reason I got accepted so fast is because of my dual enrollment credits; the community college I attend has direct connect, and close ties with UCF.

FALL !!! woooooooHoooo ! did you hear anything back yet ?
