I was about to apply today until I realized that I needed to take my Oct. SAT to be competitive for engineering. Then I remembered that I could get denied if I turned in my application now because they won't know that I'm taking the SAT in October. Is there a way to let the college know that I'm going to take the SAT again? Does A&M deny people during before the admission deadline is over?

what’s your score like. do you qualify for auto admit?

its a 1620 and no I’m in the 13% with a gpa of 3.5

Break down your sat score… Math and reading?

You’ve asked this question on various other threads. Your chances aren’t getting any better by obsessing about it. Stick your head in the SAT book and don’t come up for air till October. If you manage to get the score for auto academic admit then you can worry about getting into engineering.

BTW why do you avoid the subject of trying the ACT which is offered in September? You need to do everything in your power to help yourself before you worry about things that are not in your control. Happy studying!

570 M and 540 CR
