How long approximately does it take Rutgers to accept/reject an applicant. I applied on October 16th, my SAT scores are 1430, 2040 [750M, 680CR, 610W] and I'm retaking in November, I applied for Philosophy at New Brunswick CAS, self reported GPA of 87 [All Honors, 5 APs]

Oh, and Rutgers is the only school I plan on applying to.

I'm really anxious, so thanks for any responses.

You should get in. Sometimes it takes forever but estimate around February.

Really, that long? Even with rolling admissions (it's still rolling right?). I thought if we applied early, we would know before December for sure.

yeah, that's what i thought. and how do we know when the website is updated, like at what time do they update it?

You'll definitely find out before February.
According to the status page, they update every evening Monday-Friday.

A representative from the RU Admissions office came to my school yesterday and said they haven't started looking at applications for the Fall 2009 Semester yet, but they'll begin in approximately 2-3 weeks. It's still rolling so the earlier you apply, the earlier you'll find out.

Just relax..you should have no problem getting in.The funny thing about Rutgers is that they make people with great grades wait it out..I know..it sucks..but that is the way it is.You should call admission and tell them you will sleep with the whole staff to get in..just kidding!.You really should call them to find out whats going on.
