i've been accepted to nyu, and i was just wondering how badly my gpa can drop in order to avoid rescindance... i currently have one C in an AP class so far (the rest are all As and Bs) and no, this isn't because i'm slacking off since i already got into college - the class is actually very difficult for me. So if I can't raise this C, will nyu rescind my acceptance?

nirvana33,

i have the same fears. i have a particularly ridiculous physics teacher who is totally messing with our grades and such, and i'm afraid that if i do horribly in that class, i'll be rescinded ! [like i'm talking from an 85 to a 65]

can anyone help us !!

Damn same exact thing happened to me as far as physics goes. You'll be fine. Just as long as you aren't dropping to D's and F's. My grades dropped from straight A's to straight B's and a C. You'll be fine.

same here! i went from 5 A's and 2 B's to 2 A's, 4 B's and a C in AP French. That class KILLS me. do NOT take AP french if you can help it.
