Okay so I know it’s probably no big deal but my grades have fallen a tad third quarter and my parents are worried that Bowdoin will rescind their admissions offer. How bad is BAD? Basically I have two grades of an 80, and 81 but things are good otherwise. I’ll try to do better fourth quarter.

i dont think it matter TOO much if you go from having straight As ( which im assuming you did) to having a couple of Bs. what they dont want is you going from straight As to straight Cs, or something like that

Yeah I second crazyyy. And don’t worry you’re not alone. I’m on the route to having Bs too. I got a 56 on my Euro test =P. Senioritis is really starting to kick in big time.

I’m sure that’s fine! You are probably used to getting a lot of As, but a B is still a respectable grade (especially for a Second Semester Senior, haha). Also, I’m pretty sure that Bowdoin will only see your midyear report and your end of year report, so each quarter grade individually will be irrelevant. I am actually getting a C right now for marking period 3 in one of my classes, but I know that it will average out to a B by the end of the year so I’m not stressing!

you’ll be fine
