How low do they go?

<p>What is the lowest SAT score that you actually have come across? Are there people out there with 400-low 500s?</p>

<p>I saw someone who got twin 200's on the SAT on some website with picture of score card. He did it on purpose, though, of course.</p>

<p>Of course there are people out there with low 500s. That's the average. ....</p>

<p>Yeah, the average in the country is like a 1070 or something like that, so I'd say so.</p>

<p>my friend at Harvard has 890, accepted 1 year ago. not a lie. another Japanese friend also at Harvard with 1150, he got 600M but aced Harvard Math lol</p>

<p>Newby, does the guy play for the football team (or used to play)? We had a kid that was our star QB/Kicker, was accepted to Harvard, was actually severely autistic/learning disabled and finished in the 5th Quartile I believe...accepted purely for his football ability (no scholly though), but now he doesn't even play anymore.</p>

<p>I thought there were only 4 quartiles. Percentile, maybe?</p>

<p>Anyway, I do not know anyone with an extremely below average SAT 1 score. As for SAT 2's, I have a 540 in writing (and that is with preparation). Is that low?</p>

<p>The lowest I've come across was an 830 (something like that). My friend bombed the verbal section.</p>

<p>I'm sure there are many people at my school who did worse but won't admit it...</p>

<p>My friend got a 330 verbal, but she's from Korea and has only spoken it about 4 years, so not too bad.</p>
