How major is the greek life?

<p>I'm not a hardcore partyer, so you can only imagine my concerns when I heard the extent of Dartmouth's Greek scene. Of course I am aware that frats exist on virtually every college campus, but is this way of life avoidable if I prefer to do without it? Or am I confined to frats for the majority of my partying?</p>
