how many A.P.'s for Penn

I have taken all honors classes and an AP history and English in 11th grade. As a senior if I take AP Math but Honors Engilsh, rather than AP, does it look really crappy? My school is small and does not have a bunch of AP's. Trying to get into Penn- have SAT 1530, UW gpa 3.8, pretty good EC's.

If you school does not offer many AP's don't be too worried, because you can only work with what you have. I mean say you only offer five AP courses but you do three, that's really nothing to worry about it, because you easily might not do the other two for reasons of interest and time, so...

I just visited Penn - they are AMAZING about accepting AP credit. Basically, they take almost anything. Without limits as to the number of credits.

I think this means that they like AP classes and AP credits a lot - so take AP if you can. If you score a 5, you get both credit and placement at Penn.

Two of the three girls that got in from my school last year took 2 APs I believe, and one took 4 (we offer like 8-11)

OMG I heard you need a million trillion APs to get in. Good luck on finishing! Try to take AP Harry Potter, it's an easy class.

Penn only accepts 2 AP

a ton of aps
